Projections need enough usable scenario information. A message may appear when the scenario has no items, no debt for the debt schedule, or no values that can produce the selected chart.
Check the inputs
- Debt balance, payment frequency and interest rate.
- Investment value, contribution and return rate.
- Income and expense frequencies.
- Whether the scenario has a monthly surplus or shortfall.
- Whether a regular item was marked Once.
A missing interest rate triggers a warning. A large shortfall can slow or prevent projected repayment. Debts that do not clear within 30 years are reported that way.
Tip: Change one suspicious input, save it and reopen Projections. Do not change several figures at once while troubleshooting.
