What do Savings, Debt, Interest and Net Position show?

  • Savings: Money accumulated after projected debts are repaid.
  • Debt: The projected outstanding debt balance at each yearly point.
  • Interest: Interest paid on debt during each projected year.
  • Net Position: Projected investment value plus accumulated savings, minus outstanding debt.

These charts are different views of the same scenario. A change can improve one before it improves another.

Tip: Use the charts to compare direction and trade-offs. A precise figure 20 years away depends on many assumptions that real life will change.
